Our Kitten Pricing

We try to keep our pricing simple and transparent. Every kitten we raise receives the same level of care, regardless of whether they have short or standard-length legs, folded or straight ears.

The difference in price comes primarily from the combination of traits each kitten inherits and how frequently those combinations occur. Short legs and folded ears are individually inherited traits, meaning not every kitten in a litter will inherit them. Some kittens will have standard-length legs, some will have short legs, some will have folded ears, and others will have straight ears.

A kitten's price does not reflect a difference in health, quality, personality or the amount of care they receive.

Non-Standard — $900

Standard-length legs + straight ears

Our non-standard kittens don't inherit the short-legged Munchkin trait or the folded-ear trait. They still come from the same carefully planned and health-tested lines and often have the same round faces, plush coats and wonderful personalities we love about our cats.

At $900, these kittens are a great option for families who love the personality and appearance of our cats but aren't specifically looking for short legs or folded ears.

Non-Standard Fold — $1,300

Standard-length legs + folded ears

Non-standard Folds inherit the characteristic folded ears but have standard-length legs.

They often have the beautiful round expression and teddy-bear appearance associated with our Scottish Fold and British Shorthair lines, along with the personalities and characteristics of all three breeds behind our program.

Price: $1,300

Standard Munchkin — $2,250

Short legs + straight ears

In Munchkin terminology, “standard” refers to a kitten that inherits the short-legged Munchkin trait. It does not mean that one kitten is healthier or of better quality than a non-standard kitten.

Our Standard Munchkins have the distinctive short legs the breed is known for while retaining straight ears.

Because only a portion of kittens inherit the short-legged trait, Standard Munchkins are less commonly available than their standard-legged siblings.

Price: $2,250

Standard Munchkin Fold — $3,000

Short legs + folded ears

Our Standard Munchkin Folds inherit both of the distinctive characteristics within our breeding program: short Munchkin legs and folded ears.

Because these are separate inherited traits, only a portion of kittens will inherit both characteristics. This makes this particular combination the least frequently available in our litters and the most requested.

Price: $3,000

Our non-standard kittens aren't considered lesser-quality kittens, nor do our Standard Munchkin Folds receive better care because they cost more. Pricing simply reflects the particular combination and availability of the physical traits each kitten inherits.
